The 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Italy and Turkmenistan was celebrated with a concert by Neapolitan jazz musician and composer Antonio Onorato at the Magtymguli theatre.
Our artist performed a solo guitar concert, ranging from the Neapolitan melodic tradition to contemporary sound, up to a vibrant closing performance of ‘Volare’ in a duo with the extraordinary Turkmen artist Maysa Niyazova.
Great success was also enjoyed by the young audience at the classical guitar Master Class held by Maestro Onorato at the Turkmen national conservatory, Maya Kuliyeva, in a context of profound admiration for the Italian music scene.
